Dear Teams,

Team will need to fill out all the times they can and can not play.  Please remember when their spring break is along when they are hosting a tournament. IE UCI and UCSD state this the weekend of their event.  This way we can plan accordingly.  They have up to Jan 23 to return this file to competition.wcsa@gmail.com.  Failure to do so will result in the league setting up games regardless of teams availability. 

 Dear Teams,

 Please login to your team page and apply for the spring season and the wcsa league cup if your team plans on participating.  We will not be having a deposit for the spring.  Please have your checks sent to the league. The invoice for the Spring league is on the online check as is the new pin number for your team spring webpage.  Please note the deadline is Jan 15th. This is a hard deadline so please plan accordingly.

This fee will cover the League Cup fee.  If you have any questions, please just email me back. 

As for you deposits, we are processing those hopefully this weekend.  Please remember you need to be in good standing with the league to get the money back and you needed to turn in your mailing address last Weds.  Failure to meet these requirements will result in removal of the deposit.

We are excited to bring you the 2011 West Coast Soccer Association Regional Tournament at Cal Poly University-San Luis Obispo and Cuesta College. Hopefully you have all necessary documentation signed and certified by your schools.

Reminder: Any player not of the Certification Form AND/OR not in possession of a valid SCHOOL IDENTIFICATION CARD, will not be allowed to participate. Remind your players before they leave to MAKE SURE THEY HAVE IT.

Due to technical difficulties, we are cancelling the conference call tonight and will resolve this.  There will be an email going out shortly about a new meeting time.  

 It is important that you attend the conference calls as we need majority vote before we can move an any regional changes that will need to be made or any important information that NIRSA announces.  

We have also been getting many, many emails with questions about procedures and the like that we have gone over intensively again and agian in previous conference calls.  

These conferences only last about 10-15 minutes, and is in your teams’ best interest for a team representative to attend.

 Many of you have been asking when you can apply for nationals.  I just looked at NIRSA and the date is:Registration for the Open Division will open on September 28th at 8am Pacific Time

 

 We would like to have a last minute conference call this sunday at 6pm.  The details are below.  It is easy. Just call the number and use the participant number.  We will discussing new scheduling issues do to EWU addition, CWU, the tournament at UW, and how to get league refs.  Please it is important that you attend.  If you have any questions, please just email me back.  Brian could add this to the website so the teams can have easier reference.

 If you haven’t noticed, our website is finally finished and is up and running, just in time for the Fall 2011 Season.

We hope with this new system that teams, players and fans will become more involved with your club team.  But more importantly this will help provide an accurate way to have scores reported and updated for everyone to see as well as automate emails and create the necessary paperwork should there be any extenuating circumstances.

-DO NOT ADD DUPLICATE PEOPLE INTO THE SYSTEM
what many of you are doing for rosters/contacts, is clicking the create new contact/player as opposed to searching for existing player.  If you are listed as a team contact, and want to add yourself to the roster, please search for EXISTING PLAYER as opposed to creating new when entering players into the roster list.  By creating duplicate names, you are filling up the database that stores this information and potentially SLOWLING down the website as it sorts through and displays the data.
